  3. Being served a notice of charge (tax lien) on you or your company which shall attach to your or your company’s assets for recovery of unpaid taxes, penalties and interest under Article 114 of the Próspera Tax Statute.

  4. Having a proceeding filed against you or your company to recover tax, interest and penalties before the Próspera Arbitration Center under Articles 112 and 128 of the Próspera Tax Statute, including the recovery of reasonable litigation expenses, including attorney’s fees.

Withholding Tax

Tax withheld from your income is reported inside the applicable Income Tax Statement:

  • Open the statement from Tax Registry and continue to the income-details step.

  • Under How much tax was withheld from your income?, enter the total income tax withheld by your employer or other payers during the tax year.

  • Review the withheld amount before submitting the statement. It is applied when the portal calculates the amount you owe.

If you need to make a separate withholding filing, or the withholding field is not available in your statement, contact support through the portal's help chat.

Official Tax Forms

Most taxpayers file directly in ePróspera as described above. The Tax Administration also publishes official standalone forms on the Tax Forms and Filings page of the official Próspera ZEDE site, including:

  • BTC Election Notice

  • Withholding Tax Return (Monthly/Annual) and Withholding Certificate (Annual)

  • Company Income Tax Return (with or without a tax preparer)

  • Individual Income Tax Return

  • Individual Retail VAT Return and ZEDE Retail VAT Quarterly Return

Each form is completed and signed electronically through the links on that page. Use these when a filing cannot be completed inside the portal — for example, standalone withholding returns.

Why am I being charged $100 for filing an Annual Report?

The $100 charge for an annual report encompasses various administrative tasks that businesses might incur separately throughout the year, such as changing entity names or updating registered agents. By consolidating these actions into a single report, companies benefit from added value and convenience. However, the primary purpose of the annual report is to fulfill legal requirements dictated by statute, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate records.
