Entity residency and personal residency are separate. The entity may remain active even when a representative's personal residency becomes inactive, but an active resident representative with administrator access is needed to manage it in ePróspera.
Can entity residency be paused?
Entity residency cannot currently be placed into a temporary paused state. If the entity will no longer be used, review the standard dissolution process. Whether dissolution is appropriate for a specific entity can depend on its obligations and circumstances.
What happens if my personal residency is inactive?
An inactive personal residency can prevent you from accessing and administering the entity. It does not automatically pause the entity's residency or its ongoing requirements.
Without an active administrator, the entity can be harder to manage and required reports, tax filings, payments, or renewals can be missed.
Protect continued access
Before a representative loses access, use Manage Entity Representatives to add another eligible active resident who can administer the entity. Confirm that the new representative is active before removing the original representative.
